About This Coffee

High-quality Arabica coffee grown on the slopes of the Ilamantepec volcano. The farm is run in the second generation by Salvador and Monica Gross at an elevation of 1375-1708 meters above sea level. The nutrient-rich, sandy loam soils allow plants to root deeply. Protected under native Inga trees that serve as shade providers and grow in good symbiosis with the coffee plants, the cherries ripen slowly on the approximately 77 hectares of land at Finca El Paraíso and develop complex, fine fruity aromas. Careful drying of fully ripe coffee cherries and careful sorting improve the quality of the exported green coffee additionally.
