About This Coffee
Yellow Obata from Hacienda Sonora at the foot of Poás volcano. A cross between Timor Hybrid and Caturra, originally bred in Brazil. Known for natural rust resistance, high productivity and excellent cup quality. Yellow ripening cherries are hand-picked, water sorted, dried 9 days on patios, then mechanically dried at max 35°C, followed by 2-month rest and careful selection by weight, size, density and color.
