【Soon to be sold out】El Gravileo Washed / Honduras
About This Coffee
Floral aromas are accompanied by a refreshing acidity reminiscent of lemon, layered with a juicy sweetness akin to white grape. The mouthfeel is smooth and silky. The aftertaste carries a light and transparent impression similar to black tea, offering a clean and refined finish. El Gravileo Farm, located in Lempira County in western Honduras, was started by producer Lester Francisco Marquez over ten years ago with just two coffee trees. The farm's name is derived from the silk oak (Grevillea), a symbolic tree of the land. Under the cool and stable high-altitude climate, the Typica variety matures slowly, producing a transparent flavor. Harvested cherries are carried from the farm to the home on foot and carefully processed with the family. The farm continues sustainable coffee production while working with regional support teams to improve quality.
