About This Coffee

Rich volcanic soil and abundant biodiversity are only part of what Mt. Kilimanjaro has to offer (though it's because of this that great coffee can prosper). Located in Tanzania (and forever reigning as the highest mountain in Africa) it's clear why Miles Davis used this landscape as the muse for his transitional album (Filles de Kilimanjaro). This coffee is sourced from the Bourbon coffee variety (one of the most culturally and genetically important Arabica varieties) and is known for excellent quality in the cup. Our roast of this variety presents a warm, indulgent coffee with hints of layered expression and a rich, luxurious mouthfeel.
