Tasting Notes: Golden Raisin | Honey | RaspberryProcessing Method: NaturalVarietal: Java Our Costa Rican coffees are sourced directly by us from several dedicated, small producers. This stunning microlot comes from our friends at La Karola located in the Tarrazu region. They grow red and yellow catuai and a small amount of Java. We asked them to create a microlot harvested only from the Java varietal which resulted in the production of just 46kg of green coffee. A true microlot! This was hand harvested and very carefully sorted before drying on raised tables in a covered area.
