About This Coffee
This coffee is characterized by a vibrant acidity reminiscent of jasmine and blueberries, sweetness akin to melon and peach, and a rich body with caramel notes. When cooled, it takes on a flavor reminiscent of lemon tea, combining citrusy acidity like orange with Assam tea. Birhanu is a coffee farmer in Gedeb, Halo Hartumie village. He has been cultivating coffee for 30 years using organic farming methods, growing the 74112 variety on 4 hectares of land, harvesting about 5300 kg of coffee annually. He used to sell his coffee at the local market in Dilla town but was dissatisfied with the price, so he participated in the Cup of Excellence in 2021 and achieved 19th place. This lot maintains very high quality.
